I really liked how you have developed a thorough design object with a well-organised system, through your own unique interpretation of the literature, Lila: An Inquiry into Morals by Robert M. Pirsig. The object reacted well to the previous project demonstrating highly integrative and collaborative efforts in your design process; thus showing to me that you have been able to work well with others. Also the scripts you have used are extensively used and have really well executed. There were a few things in your design that felt slightly weak. Firstly, the 3Ds Max ‘mesh’ object was lacking, and it did not fully integrate to your design. It felt as if the shape had been arbitrarily founded and somewhat felt like it was ‘made’ as it was due to difficulties with the program. That is, it could have easily have been any other shape and it would have been able to fully function as it does now. Perhaps you could explore this further with other research points. Finally, your textures were not working to aid your work. They did not link with the story, in my opinion, and again seemed a bit randomly applied. Additionally, your working process on your blog does not seem to have considered a variety of textures, as you seemed to have repeated the same texture. I suggest that you take advantage of textures to craft your work better.
I really liked the way that you have made your "object" function. How you have scripted the carded to fall in a natural falling motion when it is activated, indicating the thought process and the sudden thought of an important idea. Also the way that it is activated showed that you co-operated a lot with others while you were constructing this object. Though perhaps the texture of the object could have been developed as it didn't really look like it linked with your idea very much and the shape of your mesh' could have been more developed for more visual interest But overall I really liked the idea behind your 'object' and your object reflected your idea(S) very well
The concept of the rezzer idea was carried forth well in interpreting the required reading. By your documentation of your developmental processes through screenshots, video footages and explanations, it was a cohesively structured presentation. The transparency applied to your design that exposed the movement did not have great relevance to your design however, and the plank wood texture that you chose for your design I felt was somewhat conservative and that you could have further investigated textures that connected more closely to your ideals. The collaboration feature was a key component in your design and achieved the interactional aspect by functioning as a structural base for your neighbor’s design whilst carrying the flow of a chain reaction.
